I have a 180 gallon tank 6*2*2 and i want to get a group of lyonsi in there and when get a pair move them to there own tank. i was wondering what else i can keep with them in the 180. right know there is 4 giant danios cycling it. i can move those or sell them if needed. there is sand in the tank and a large piece of drift wood will be added. i want some kind of rarer catfish and a really pretty top level fish please help first really big tank.

I have a group of four A. lyonsi (3-4") in a 210 gal with a bocourti (4"), a few synspilum (2-5"), 4 T. pasionis (3"), 3 V. heterospilum (2"), and a female P. loisellei(4"). The group is working out well, although I'll be thinning out as needed as things grow. The lyonsi are not very aggressive, although they can hold their own. Not sure about what catfish would go well - I have some Baryancistrus (L081 and L018) that help to keep the algae down.

would 3 or 4 lyonsi a loisellei and a group of silver dollars and a group of giant danios and some type of catfish or pleco work for 180 for life or would thst be over stocked?

Sounds reasonable to me in terms of number of fish, but I'm not sure if four lyonsi would continue to get along once they reach maturity. If a pair forms then I doubt it. But you could try and see how it goes.
