Has anybody noticed that your lower ranking fish are always changing pecking order while the top fish always are in command? Last couple days a the pecking order has changed on a daily basis. I love watching everybody scatter when the ruler of the tank takes a stroll through to the other side.Today all the lower rankers are chasing around one of my Red Heads taps. Yesterday it was a Rotkiel sev, day before that it was a green sev. funny how once one fish chases around somebody they all step in and give it a whirl.

no. my largest fish have changed rank 3 times in the last year. first the largest bluegill was in charge, then the largest longear, now the next largest longear is boss. the medium two bluegill are starting to feel their oats (crickets?) now and are backing down slower and slower...
