Tank.....how many gals...?

Ok, so we have the huge tub....was suposed to be used as a watering trough for cattle but never made it there....its 61" long 35" wide and 21" tall..how many gallons is that?? I am thinking about adding a filter and heater and making it into an outdoor pond....=]

If you look at the very top of your screen, you will see the "Conversions" tab between "Blog" and "Search". All you have to do is put your numbers in, and select the unit of measurement. It does the math for you. Try it. You should get 194 gallons.
 
In inches, take the length times the width times the height and divide by 231. This will give you the volume in U.S. gallons. To be accurate you should use the internal dimensions of the tank.

LxWxH/231 = tank volume :thumbsup:
