i think im going to do a 315 gallon tank i think im going to use a 55 gallon sump will this be enough also will my floor be able to support this weight its going to be a long 88 inches to displaces the weight 88x28.5x28.5

How much flow are you planning on having? I would figure out what you want for GPH of the pump in your sump and that would help deturmine the flow through the sump.

And of coarse bigger is always better right?

Depends what's your floor made of:) Unless you have the plans for your house you would only be guessing; your tank alone weighs in at about 2630.25 lbs without the sump. FYI 1 gallon of water weighs 8.35lb. Assuming this is on a raised floor then you would need 2x6 beams under your floor to help hold the weight and be sure there connected to load bearing walls. And the span of the 2x6 also makes a big diffrence and if it's 16 or 24 inches on center. In the short would you let 20 people stand in the spot you plan to put this tank? Assuming they all weighed 125lbs ea.

Unless you are on a concrete slab floor you will need to Identify which walls around the tank are load bearing. You will also need to know how the floor is framed and the direction those frames run in relation to the tanks location.
