Tank ideas

Ok I'm upgrading my tanks over the next two months and would like some input on stocking and maybe even filtration.
I have two tanks in mind but I'll give stock lists before tank sizes as I could go either way.

3x Senegal Bichir
1x Ropefish
1x Mokelemembe/Retropinnis (whichever I can find)
1x Striped Raphael
1(?*)x Needlefish

1x Tiger Oscar
1x Red Oscar
1x albino Choclate Pleco
1x Pike Cichlid

*Not sure if they would do better in groups*

Ok, so with those two groupings, the tanks are a) a 75g I just picked up and b) a 125g I plan on purchasing when I ditch a roommate (unless I find a nice deal on something bigger on craigslist by then.) So which group would be better suited to the 75g if either? I'm ok with cutting down on either list but I already own the Senegals, Pleco, and Oscars so they stay. Ideas?

group 1, in the 75gal: filter: ac110 and a fluval 405.
group 2, in the 125gal: filter fx5 ac110 and a power head.

Ok, so no obvious problems with these mixes or hideous overstocking? Good. I will probably cancel the Needlefish as everything I find on them says they are difficult to keep but not why.... Oh well, that was the g/f's idea anyway and I just thought it might be nice to have SOMEthing at the top.
