Ok so I've got some money saved up and I'm trying to upgrade my tank to something bigger. The current inhabitants are:

-3" Striated Anglerfish
-12" Snowflake Moray Eel
-Green Brittle Starfish
-Decorater Spider Crab
-3 Turbo Snails
-2 Red-Legged Hermit Crab

I'm gonna upgrade to a 120 and I need some ideas before I get started so I can plan all of this out. I'm looking for some bright colorful fish that will look good in there. I also need to look at a clean up crew and some more inverts. Any ideas are welcome. I would like a nice Yellow Tang to be one of the future inhabitants and a Green Wolf Eel. Only thing that has to be brought into consideration is that the fish have to be big enough not to get eaten by my Angler. Anyone?

Since I have yet to put up a pic of my boy here he is:

Great photo the angler is magnificent. as far as a yellow tang that would be okay Green Wolf Eel not sure how that would work out sometime's 2 type's of saltwater Eel's won't be good tank mate's clean up crew you can get some nassirus snails, trochus snails, cerith snails, bristle starfish. Any other tank mate's your thinking of?

I just want something that's bright and colorful... Maybe a Trigger but I heard they are too aggressive for Anglers. I'm also thinking of a White Ribbon Eel but again you have the 2 Eel one tank problem. Any ideas?

you could get a squirrel-fish, or a bird wrasse, some sorta angel but just have to be wary cause of the angler. But the more you shop you'll change your mind 30 time's before you set yourself to one but that is the fun of it. Hope I can help and see the picture's of the new arrival once you research compatibility and settle on your choice.

What about a dog-face puffer? I know Puffer's are notorious for nipping tank mates but all of the dog-faces I have seen have had smaller tank mates and everyone was fine?

He would kill all your inverts they can be so-so when small but when there big lookout they can be a terror. If you want inverts then you'll want to steer clear of triggerfish and puffer's as well as certain fish. He would probably tear up that angler when he got a chance as well.

Well no Puffer for me? Would I expect the same attitude from a porcupine puffer?
