Tank ideas?

Hey everyone

A while ago i posted about a 10 gallon aquarium. Ive decided to take it down and give the fish to one of my friends who has a good set up for them

So now i have 3 options

A 40 gallon breeder with one or two larger sized fish

A 20 gallon long with some breeding medium sized fish

Or a 65 gallon with one large fish

I have a diy trickle filter all ready to go, so i will buy my return pump based on the size aquarium i get

Any ideas on stocking these aquariums? I havent decided which size to go with yet, but i need some ideas for stocking

I would probably say the 40. Stock with what pleases you, not us and you will be happy.

Ill definatelt stock with what i want, i just need some ideas. Id love a single oscar in the 65, but the dimensions wouldnt be great i think.

Yea thats what i figured i would do if i got the 65, one large fish.

Can you guys name a good "wet pet" or some stocking ideas for the 40

Given that 65g isn't even a 4ft tank, I'd go with the more standard and great footprint of a 40B.

I'd avoid the single wet pet, its gets boring IMO.

I say go for a small/medium cichlid community, then you get the interaction and feel good from knowing they're in an appropriately sized tank
