Ive had my 180 gal for around 6 years and want to change it up. Some of my very old fish have passed away recently and I'm ready for a change. Ive taken out all decorations. It currently is sand bottom with a Motoro Ray and Peacock Bass (might give away). I want the tank to look nice but I know i can't do too much with the ray. I can't decide between one or two more large fish like an Arowana or some large community fish (Would give away bass). Considering all ideas.

Hello, I would not go for an arowana, a 180 won't be large enough tank for life. The silvers get to 3 feet long, and the Jardini's are killing machines.
You are right about the ray limiting you, but there are still lots of fish you can keep with the ray. My suggestion would be a large group of geophagus, very pretty and shouldn't bother your ray.
