right...im kinda running out of space, my mum wants the tank to go in the conservatory. but i think it gets too cold :(
can anyone give me some advice? i think in the summer it would be fine, but im just a bit worried about winter.

cheers all

It really depends on how cold the conservatory gets in the winter. If it's not too cold then another heater and a higher power bill might be all it takes.

erm think it kind just 'off' what it is outside, which is the prob. i mean we might have a mild winter where it doesnt go below 9c....but already its been -1c so not sure

I have two goldfish in a tank in our conservatory. In the winter the water gets down to about 50 degrees but up to about 75 degrees in the summer. The fish do not appear to mind and I think they have a stronger color because of this.

I hope that this have been of some use.

well what i will be keepin out there, is a bichir, a venustus, another malawi, talking catfish and plec
