Tank in front of d' window

Do I have to Lighten my Tank even if it is in front of my window?...
Considering the fact that fish needs to rest and I have to turn my light off...
 
it'd give it a nice natural look...gonna have to deal with algae prolly but I don't see how it would be a problem other than that
 
Actually I don't have a problem with algae coz my Red tail black sharks seems happy eating it... What I'm thinking is if i have to turn my lights on during at night?

Yeah! I really love that natural look... Esp at 4-5pm... the sun is not that hot and its rays are pointing on the right side of my tank(half of my tank that's why my Clown knife stay at the left side during that time and the others are enjoying the light)
