So i have a 50-60 gallon tank and it's just sitting in my room and since i like geckos I plan on getting a leopard gecko probably female but im scared the tank is too big and even worse, I plan on getting a baby so im scared it will get stressed or lose its food.. what to do?? And even as adult will 50-60 gallon tank be too big for a leopard gecko or will it be fine?

yes, way too big. I'd say 20 gallons at most for one.
Just as you said, it might lose its food and have a hard time finding its heat source or any other essentials.
always remember to use an under tank heater at about 80-90F for the warm side of the terrarium, and never use sand or any other loose substrate...
also the rule of thumb for food size is the food should be as wide as the gecko's head. (or at least for crickets...) and try to feed 2 crickets for each inch of gecko. (6 inch gecko should get a dozen crickets each feeding.)
also try to clean up the poop as much as you can, paper towels as substrate really help.
leos only poop in the spot they are the least often, usually a back corner.

I don't think it would be that bad for an adult but i wouldn't put a baby in that. I kept 3 females together In a 40 breeder. leopards can be quite social well at least the females can but the males can be jerks to each other. you could always keep a male and 2 or 3 females as long as you watch for bullying they can be great together.

You can easily section it off for the baby. I personally wouldn't worry about it when it's a little larger. It will be fine. I personally keep one in a standard 55, and he seems to relish in the space.
