I am building a tank lid at school for a circular tank of 224 cm in diameter. I was wondering if you all had any ideas for building a tank cover. I was thinking plexi glass but that is over the budget, so i need something that is cheap and affordable but still looks decent.
Thank you.

corrigated cardboard that has a glossy finish. wood will last for while until it rots or swells up unless u coat it with urethane or some kind of clear coat. large peices of plastic if possible. look around the house and school. depending on what kind of fish you are keeping you might not even need a lid. you would just have to add water more often.
