:nilly: New tank no lid and planning on acquiring a juvenile Jardini... I would love to now an easy way to make a decent lid that will prevent the arowana from jumping out. I was thinking about building a wooden frame and putting the reptile mesh found in pet stores over it. But I'm not very experienced with cutting wood at all and looking for a safe easy way to prevent any loss of fish, thanks.

I always just use Plexi. It sags after a while so flip it over once a week.

Yup, i got a custom 1/4" Acrylic lid made, it sags so i flip it once a week as well. No need to spend the money on a canopy, Its see through so i just stick my light fixture on top of it. Its just as long as the tank so it will take a big aro to move it since it has some weight to it
