First off, sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but I want to make an indoor pond, and put various low light plants and moss in there. the pond would be about 400 gallons, and about 8 feet long, so buying fish tanks lights would be 1, expensive, and 2, look stupid of there is like 10 lights on it just to cover the surface. Now onto the questions, can i use the 4 foot long shop lights you can get at homedepot, and use the flouresent bulbs that usualy come with them?
