I just got a set of marine glo light bulbs for my P tank and i LOVE them so far i have the standard bulbs that come with the strips in and they were way to bright so i went looking for something blue or purple and i found these they glow a realy greay color of blue and my RBPs swim around alot more with this lighting then they did with the white light when i get around ill post a pic of the tank with the old lights (see avatar) and the new lights

if you like the look of the lights, then stick with them, just make sure you don't waste any money on live plants, because they will not do well at all under those bulbs. i've also found that bulbs that give off light more in the blue spectrum tend to wash out the color red, you may find that these bulbs don't, just something to watch for.
no i'm not worried about the color wash b/c i am going to get a secondary set of regular white lights for show so when ppl come over i can turn on the whites insted of the blues and they will show up great under the white light i just like the blue b/c they will swim more insted of hide with these lights and i don't want natural plants i think the fake ones do good enough for what i'm doing although a real planted tank does look good but its not for me right now
