Tank management in event of power failure

Some nasty flooding here in Calgary. Power outages are anticipated.

How does one keep a tank going in these circumstances? Manually aerate with a beer mug? And is there a good way to keep temp up? (my tanks all require 79-82... 1 african tank, 1 south american tank with a rotkeil female guarding eggs, and 1 brakish tank).

lots of threads on this but battery powered air pumps and wrap in blankets if it is cold out. reduce feeding and add bio media to the main tank. cross your fingers and hope for the best
