Looking for a tankmate for my tsn/rtc. The cat is 9" right now and will be moved to a 650 tank in the next few months. Any opinion of what could go in with him right now? He seem's kinda bored in his tank without anyone in there with him. Any advice would be appriciated. Thank you.

Its hard to find a tank mate that will be suitable for life for a RtcXtsn , just as a rule of thumb I would pick something that is to big to fit in its mouth but constantly monitor it, or get something that isn't expensive just in case....

That's the thing. He wont be a tank mate for the life of the catfish. I'll be moving the cat to my friend's 650 gallon in a few month's. Im just worried that an oscar or a dempsey would be too rough with the cat if I put it in there with him.

Put a couple of q'ed gold fish!! He will not be bored then for a minute. :)

Ok, now back to the first question. Does anyone have any good idea's for other fish that could be put with a tsnxrtc? Im NOT looking to feed my catfish with them. Im looking for a fish that could co-exist with him without them distroying each other. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Thing about cats are the fact that they ususally grow really quick, if it were someone with a 1000+ pond i would quickly say get similiar sized cats to add to his tank. However you havent eaven mentioned the current tank he is in, filtration or preatty much anythin. So to be simple give us some more info on current set-up and not the future set up.
