its a secret
ok i have about a 3-3.5" uro, and she has turned into a total Bi**h. she beat the crap out of my GT, and i bought a midas/red devil today, that was about 2" and she killed it in about an hour.

what can i put in there and be able to hold its own. thanks
Rob

i was almost ready to get the peacock bass they had, but i know i wont have a big enough tank for it. i am looking to get some kind of SAC though....

What size tank? Can't think of many south that could handle that uro except for tank busters.Might try a Motaguense they only get 11-12"

well the plan is for a 75g but right now i have them in a 25 just casue its a grow out tank.

i always thought that a RD could handle that damn uro....

from what i hear, uro's can definetly be *****es, i'd say keep it a single specimen tank if your going with a 75, 48"x18" footprint isn't really enough length to have more than one large cichlid set up a territory.

RD should do okay but it will have to be larger than the Uro because the Uro has established territory

I wouldn't put anything else in there with it until you getta bigger growout tank!! A 25 gal? No wonder you are having problems. That really doesn't give the fish much room to run or get away from its aggressor. You could try some TRUE Red Terrors in there, but they might kill her...lol. If you have any availability to Crenicichla, that would be the way to go. Not horribly big, but won't take any crap from her, as long as you get the right species! ;)
