One 12-13 inch arowana in a 135 gallon tank. Add two 3-4 inch Senegal Bichirs.... Would they be lunch or would the arowana ignore them?

Do you feed your arowana live feeder fish? Do you have any tankmates currently with the aro?

The only 100% ay to be sure would to not mix them. But there are many, myself included, that mix bite sized fish with their aros without consequence.

The aro is eating since I got her a bout 5 months ago only floating pellets dried krill and occasional dry cricket. It's been with a 7 inch Senegal 6-7 inch common pleco 12-13 inch rope fish and two 6 inch barbs an finally a 3-4 inch blue Botia.... I doubt anything short of a midget with a spear gun could get that Botia though it lives in a chivas bottle and really comes out.... how small are the fish you have your with?

It's a silver BTW.... and sorry the phones spell check kicked my butt on the last post. Lol

Haha, I hate the smart phones of today. They are too smart for their own good and make us look dumb sometimes. As bderick has said, there are some who keep big aros with bite size fish with no consequence. I have done the same at one point or another. My suggestion, would be to just grow out the bichers another couple inches and then add them to the tank. I have little experience with bichers, but I had a couple senegals from petsmart that were very active and at the top of the water a lot of the time.

Yeah a good chance that it would be fine. If you have another tank, why even take the risk.

the fish will be occupying two different areas of the tank so there might be no problems but it is a risk until the birchirs get bigger

if you've got a lot of cover on the bottom that will help too- stuff like PVC pipe or bamboo and sticks and oak/almond leaves etc... What the aro can't see the aro won't hunt.
As an aside, the loach will do a lot better, you will see it more and be a lot happier and less territorial and grouchy if you get a school of them- 5 should be your minimum. These are my favourite loaches- bright (smart) active, gutsy(vicious... potentially) and absolutely beautiful when they get big. Clowns lose colour, these guys put it on.
