ok well this might sound dumb but fogive me for asking is there anything i can keep with my midas its only 3 1/2 in maybe 4 ?????

I'm going to have to take my JD to the lfs for credit. She cannot hang with my midas/rd. She can't even come close to outswimming the midas/rd. It is painful to watch her try to get away from an psychotic attack. Once hidden, she is fine, but it isn't getting any better. My JD was once bigger at 5-6 inches, but now looks small compared to her nemisis...btw, they are in a 120 gallon together... They got along great for months, but then one day out of the blue, the midas/rd decided he didn't like her anymore...

Leave the tank bare (aside from a flower pot, or something of the sort) and allow the Devil his own domain..

Why do you say that? You can put decor and gravel in a Rd tank. And other fish. You can put large rocks or wood, branches...You can do a rocky bottom, similar to lake nicaragua...I dont know why people keep insisting on doing always the same thing and setting up those lame bare bottom with a flower pot kind of tank when keeping RDs.
well its by it self and my tank has drift wood sand and plants im not going to have some plain looking tank with nothing in it as he gets bigger it will get a bigger tank
