Tank Mate ?

Would a Pbass be alright in the same tank as a dat? Also what kind of dats could i keep more than one of in the same tank, if any?

yes and many people mix different dats.

Any Dat's would do. Do combination of everything. I find AT's more vicious than the rest though. They like to chase fishes around.

What are the biggest dats, Siamese? Are Siamese the same as wide bar dats? What dats are available in the US?

they all grow the same size. and takes a long time.

ST's and IT's grow the biggest 24inches. AT, NTT, and NGT's dont get that big 14-18inches they say but never seen them past 14. As long the dats arent to small to where the pbass can eat them then your good. I have all my dat in with pbass.

What about Bichir with Dat's? will those Ornates/Endli's eat my Dat's?

As long as the dats are big enough not to get swallowed then your good. Ive had dats in with endlies and ornates. They did fine.
