i want to put a couple or maybe just one more fish in with my O's what is a good one?? I was thing a smaller knife fish like black?? Anny suggestions.

I would consider upgrading before even thinking about adding more fish. 2 O's need atleast 100 gallons.
55 gallon tank is barely enough for a single adult oscar for life. And this is providing massive filtration, super-friquent water changes (think in terms of 30-50% twice a week), and little to none decor, since every pebble of gravel will displace some water volume. Unless you are CERTAIN that you will upgrade say when that O hits a 8-10" mark, I would say forget about any tankmates
Please get a bigger tank...and you might want to consider something tougher than a black knife, or you could put the knife in the 55 when you move the O's.
dude, you need a 100g for 2 oscars alone.And before 8-10". you should have the tank for them as soon as possible.
