tank mates 75 gallon

I have 4 chocalate cichlids 2.5"- 3" and a pair of redtiger mots about the same size The female tiger is a bully. Both groups are in their own smaller tank but I would like to move them to a 75 until they grow a bit. Will the chocs hold their own against the Mots. Never owned chocs before but they seem to be like oscars.

Chocolates are peaceful and RT Motas are very aggressive.

I had that feeling but wanted to check with others. I really need more tanks. Maybe I can show this thread to the wife as proof I need more.

Your avatar is hilarious. And yeah I'm pretty sure your motas would make quick work of these chocs. Keep the chocs in the 75 (for now) and get a 150 for your motas

I have a 125 for the mots later on but would never see them in it at their size now.

chocolates are very peaceful, I had one that would get picked on by geos and ctenopoma
