Hi all i have 2 sting rays and 1 clown knife fish the rays are 7-8inch & 9-10inch the clown knife fish is 8-9 inch and there not really getting along anymore as the and they have had there battels ( the rays are winning at the moment by pinning the clown down. he has 2 like ring marks (bite marks) at the moment so anyway ive been thinking about swoping the clown for a gaint gourami and just wonderd wot peoples thoughts were as a tankmate? 0r if anyone keeps or in the past these 2 together.

This doesn't take much working out sell the knife as the rays are trying to eat it
I find tigers/dats work well so do Arowana lots of other fish will work tinfoil barbs and others but I can't comment on anything else as that's all I keep

well I planned on putting a CK in with my rays when the CL gets bigger, but will have to see how they get along. I have known people who do keep CK in with their rays and do just fine. Guess it depends on the rays and fish.
Rt now, in both of my 250's, I keep an Aro and I also keep Silver Dollars. My SD are about 4" around, so the are big enough to not get eaten.. I will be introducing a Indo Dat in to one of the tanks when he is big enough..

i have seen some keep gars with rays. but it didnt work for me. but i keep pbass, paroon shark, ossa knife with my rays. only down fall to pbass is they eat all the food fast, so u haft to tube feed at times
i keep mine with a florida gar, silver dollars and two bichirs. (but i plan on removing the two bichirs)
