Tank mates for baby red terror?

a red terror is going to try to boss the tank. basically he is going to be the centerpiece. I would go with something rugged and defensive like a dempseys jag or Cuban. those are not fish who hang out in the open a lot they will take a cave or another nook in the tank and chill there. my jag and Dempsey are kinda boring me so I decided to get a dovii. I wanted something more in your face and active so that's what I went with for the "center of attention" fish. don't get me wrong my jag and Dempsey are beautiful but they don't have that energy. but like I said get something defensive that clings to territory well but nothing that's gonna try to outright dominate the terror

Depends on the size of the tank which will be its permanent housing. 60 gallon will last a year possibly.

Hit or miss growing fish out together. My female was bullied by everyone up till she was about 6". Individual fish temperament will vary from situation to situation though.

She got beat down to the point of ich by a GT and Firemouth. I treated and qted her in a 60 for about 6 months to add size.

Now she's the centerpiece in our 300.
