Tank mates for datnoids?

I bought 6 tiger barbs in hopes of pellet training my datnoids I have 2 IT, 1 AT I know eventually the barbs can become dinner. I currently have the barbs in my 29gal to insure they don't have diseases. I purchases about 20 small feeder goldfish and I only have 10 left.... The 10 dead had missing eyes....i'm kinda worried about the eyes of my dats they are big enough to defend themselves but it's possible. need some other opinions please

They should pose no threat to your dats unless there is a big size difference between them.
