Tank mates for Jardini

So Ive read that its risky to have tank mates with your Jardini. As Ive searched through this fourm, I have found success and failure with housing other fish with a Jardini.
My question: Would a Ornate Bichir, Delhezi Bichir and a Robertsoni work out? Im guessing its just a hit and miss....also, should I introduce them while hes still 3"?

Definitely a hit or miss. I am actually trying a similar stock in my tank. I would say either try to grow them out together, or get the other fish when they are monsters, and introduce the jardini possibly when he is slightly smaller.

yea i think it would work i had a 5 inch senegal with my 9 inch jardini no problems at all but all fish are different

The bichirs are 7-8" and the Robersoni is 3" aswell, so I was thinking about inroducing them soon.
