i have a 56 column tank with two featherfins catfish about 6-7 inch, two pineapple pleco and callichtys callithys catfish similiar size to the featherfin catfish and six raphael catfish about 3-4 inches.
It is filter with Eheim 2217 canister, AC 70 hob both fill with ceramic and bio balls inaddition with sponge pad. In tank hydor 200 gallon sponge run with a ac70 powerhead and lots of pothos and lucky bamboo for extra filtration between water changes. Water changes is weekly with 30 -50 percent at a time. Would like to add one Salvani Cichlids to mix will this work if not can someone suggest medium size cichlid to be the center piece of this tank. My other fish hides too much. lots of Java Ferns and terra cotta pots. Want a medium center piece fish with colors.

your salvini wont bother with your catfish, all your raphaels will be hiding anyways since theyre nocturnal

+1 the salvini will be fine its other cichlids they have issues with ,stunning fish though colours can be amazing once reach adult size

I'd suggest considering another species. Your bottom real estate is already pretty full with all the cats and plecos since you have a column style tank. Sals will spend the majority of their time near the bottom as well and can be pretty reclusive since they are naturally ambush predators. I definitely think there are better choices for a centerpiece fish.

how about HRP-honduran red point similar to convict.another choice is sajica, cutteri, rainbow cichlid (herotilapia multispinosa)

Sajica's and rainbows are not as aggressive. They'd get torn up quick. In a 3 ft tank your options are limited.

Good luck with the Rainbows, don't think they will do very well with the Sals. The Salvinis are pretty aggressive, and like mentioned, are not good centerpiece specimens.
You might want to go with the HRP's.
