Well I have two Africana side necks that are 4-4.5" wide in my 210 I’m wanting to ad a few more maybe two or three more turtles just don’t no what would be good with them I believe there both females.

Are you talking about Pelomedusa? If yes they do great with other animals of the same species, get 2 more females and one male for example. They also do great with the smallest Pelusios species. Make shure to keep all new arrivals in quarentine and allways give preference for cb ones.

ive seen them kept with peacefull african cichlids, like kribs and jewels. it was a sweet tank too, it was a 210 like yours, with 6 jewels, maybe 8 kribs, probably 19-30 congo tetras, and 3 butterfly fish on top, with 3 pelomedusa subrufa(i assume that is what you have?) and it was sweet, they guy had siliconed in an island in the middle of the tank for the turtles and then tons of live plants, it was awesome!!!

Yes I believe that’s what they were and I do believe they are cb, so I can only do the same species then I couldn’t do any musk turtles or red ear sliders or any other type.

I may do a bunch of neon’s and giant danios but looking for some other type of turtles that I could maybe add, Im def going to add some nice plants in there too.

People do it but I would advice against trying it, its risky in a health prespective.

id stay away from any other turtle species honestly, ultimately its your tank though, and what doesnt work for some works for others.

Because those species come from a diferent geographical areas and so both groups can contain patogens they are themselfes inmune to but that can be agressive to animals that were never expossed to them. Some people do it but I really dont recomend.
