tank mates?

Im thinkin about getting a puffer mbu or fahaka I hav peacock bass
now in the tank.can it be done if so witch one? Where can I order puffers

Most important question would be what size tank do you have and what other tank mates?

how big is your bass? if you order a baby puffer the bass will swallow it

as far as tankmates...I used to think that nothing can be kept with a fahaka, but I'm changing my thinking...My first Fahaka would kill anything that I put in the tank with her. but this second one that I have is pretty docile...he is fully grown now, I got him as a baby and currently have a school of tiger barbs in the tank with him (20+). He pretty much leaves the tiger barbs alone if I keep him happy (well fed). My previous fahaka would of decimated that school as soon as they touched the water. A few barbs have disappeared though . but still he is not the viciouse killer that my first puffer was.

you will definately not be able to keep any crustacions or snails in there though...but as far as other fish goes, my thinking now is that it just depends on the temperment of the fish you get
