tank mates

looking for some ideas for tank mates with my GG.
I was thinking, 2 siamese tiger fish, can't think what else, bearing in mind that my tank is open top so can't really have any jumpers.

Dats might get too big for a 200. Why not try large cichlids.

Siamese dats don't get as big as the others, but a lot of people recommend brackish for them.

If anything the giant gourami will be the one to outgrow the 200g, not the dats.

I've heard the GG are kind of variable as far as their temperments towards other fish. Some will tolerate almost any tankmate, some don't really like anyone.

I don't see why siamese dats wouldn't work with them, but again, a lot of people recommend brackish for that particular species.

iv'e got some geo balzanii growing on in the fish house, these might go in nicely, when fully grown.

the tank is 200g uk, thats 250 us gal.

where you get a siamese tiger? its like virtually extinct in fish trade (small one) only big one left.. stupid thailand ban!

i have them on my import lists from 4cm to 20cm all the time

uk measure water different to us, uk gal is i think 4.7litres.

yeah the English gallon is 5L or something, while the US gallon is 3.86L
