Tank move, how long will BB live?

So I broke down my 90, put a legit black paint background on it and put it all together. Well while I was moving the tank and waiting on the paint to dry I kept the bio media from my AC110 in a 5g bucket, I added a smidgen of ammonia and put a air stone/disk under the bag o' ceramic. It was like this for a good 3 hrs untill I got everything put back together and running. I dont have a fish in the tank atm but do you think the bb is still alive?

i think the bb is still alive.... done the same kinda thing in the past and had no problem gettin the tank cycled up in a few hours

u took some good precautions, i would bet u have minimal BB losses.

You should be fine

You don't start to loose large amounts of BB unitl 20 to 24 hours.

Excellent idea to put some ammonia in there.

You'll be fine as long as they were kept wet........
