Hi everyone I just signed up to the forum. My Tank has been fine for a good year until now. I need your expertise to help me possibly fix this problem or at least know what it is. I think the best way to do that is to tell you all this horror story.

First, My siamese fighting fish started to have serious fin rot. I personally thought that It was the Pakistani Loaches I had in the tank that were picking on the betta or the butterfly fish. So I put him in a guppy birth container to keep him isolated from the others. I started to notice that the butterfly fishes fins were also under attack. I started to realize that the Pakistani Loaches were not the cause of the fin rot. after I let the betta out the butterfly fish and betta were vanished the next morning. I think that some disease killed them and then the loaches and Pictus Catfish ate the remains.

Second, I went to big Als to buy new fish of course and came home with guppies, great choice I know. Needless to say theres only one left and there are no fish inside. There's no fish that would eat them in my tank. Before they died they had a hard time controlling they're swimming. SO Out of fear of bringing internal parasites into my tank I used the best medicine i HAD "BIO BANDAGE" Its used as antibiotics. I decided to mix this with the fish flakes to get this inside they're bodies. For some reason two drops seemed to be too much to mix and now the tank has a slight blue tone. Inside it warms that rubbing against the eyes or lungs are bad for the fish. Can anyone tell me the fate of my fish? They seem to be fine so far but if its in the water that much will they go blind or suffocate? If all my fish die I'm going to make a brackish tank full of pufferfish hopefully they take frozen blood worms

DISCLIAMER: I'm only a kid not a fish pro so please don't talk down to me, I'm just trying to do the best with the knowledge and resources I have.

My tank is a 30 Gallon with substrate and gravel mixed, it used to be on top. Because of this I never clean the gravel because it will suck up all the substrate which sucks up the poo. The fish currently inside the tank are 4.5" Pictus Catfish, 3 4" Pakistani Loaches, a small Columbian Ram , 3 tiny 3 catfish and a clown pleco.

Welcome to MFK :) Do a test on your water parameters and please list them, also how do you do water changes. Please hold off on adding anymore fish until things get stabilized. Never heard of the product that was used but does it indicate that it will do anything harmful to the beneficial bio bacteria in your filter.
