Tank on top of pond? Safe?

Was going to use 2x4s to lay underneath all the way across... with also a piece of styrofoam...just wondering if n e one have done it before...

should work fully supported with 2x4's as u propose... foam is not for acrylic tanks!!! this is a big misconception...nix that part and u should b good... replace the foam with a sheet of ply. foam can disform over time leading to bottom seam failure on acrylics... ive seen it happen many times.
 
I would stand the 2X4 on its shorter side, instead of lying on its longer side like the way you have it for the 60 in the picture. More rigidity and less flex this way.

What do mean stand the 2x4 on its shorter side...I was going to set it up the same way as the 60g...gonna add a plywood now instead of the stryfoam

In the picture, you have the 2X4 laying on its 3.5" side, just flip the 2X4 90 degrees onto its 1.5" side.
