I keep getting side tracked on my 125 gal,herps keep taking over but I am working on finale getting filters.I want a look like amazon or swampy kind of.Not a lot of fighting,I like south americans and also want dithers.I always love how planted pirahna tanks look,but cant do that.So,maybe firemouths with tiger barb dithers or what?How big would silver dollars get because I like how they too got the amazon look.I want drift wood,and plants.I really hear diferent things on tiger barb and silver dollar sizes.Who knows for sure?I like severums alot but they seem a bit more sensetive to me.I wish pacus stayed like 6 inches,when will they breed them to try and get smaller ones,lol.Here is a pic of my tank to show its legit,lol.

Plants+Silver Dollars= Dead/leafless plants. Also, severums are actually fairly hardy fish IME. You can do a sand substrate with earth eaters along with severums and maybe some Nics in a 125 gallon tank.

silver dollars 8-10"(but eat plants, same with piranha)
tiger barbs- about 2"
if you didnt mind severum sensitivity(or lack thereof) theyd be fine, but no live plants because that would just be food, the same goes for uarus.

I think I will keep it simple with fake plants.Show me pics of 8 inch silvers man,gee wiz,lol.I wanted geos,sevs and firemouths back when I joined this site but like more amazon stuff right now.Is there a good link to a thread or section that you guys can give that has alot of amazon type pics?IME sevs tend to always breath with more gaping and then quit for a day or so after water change and then right back to it.Do they just always breath like that,thats why I thought maybe they need the water way better than others.Link me to a good pic thread if you guys can,thanks.I also may add it seems I read that geos are real sensetive to temp change.
