tank parts help

aaahhhh i came home today and was playing with my tank (180g 4'x2'x3')and noticed my top frame is cracking where the center support meets the front rail. glass is not bowing yet and if im not mistaken that support does alot more than just hold the glass top does anyone know where i can find a top frame

you had best go to a local glass suplier ask for an off cut and empty your tank till its 1/4 full remove the existing brace and replace it !

i have a temp support in place i would like to find a factory top frame. u know its the molded plastic kind but im having a hard time finding one

The plastic is there for only looks. There isn't enough strength in the plastic to make a difference. If it really bugs you, switch it with the piece on the back.
