so while looking around in my current residences, i realize in my bedroom i have a massive old radiator that still works, it keeps the room so hot that i do not need a heater for my oscar tank it keeps it 80' exactly. this is a 20 gallon tank on the other side of the room. now i was thinking about getting a 55 gallon, setting it on top of the radiator with a towel underneath and having that as the heater! i wasn't sure if the constant heat would harm the glass, hence the towel. good idea? bad idea? thoughts?
