I am growing out what appears to be a juvenile female marmorata, locality unknown. I plan to keep her long term in a standard 6' 125 gallon, which I understand to really be the bare minimum for a marm. Will she be cramped in this tank?
Secondly, I'd really like to house her with a male geophagus brasiliensis, who is currently much larger than she is. I'm planning to add her first, then add him. There would be plenty of driftwood nooks and crannies for her.
Likelihood this would work long-term?

It would be tight when it is full grown for sure but it could work. Keep a close eye on them. Both fish can be aggro.
