i'd really appreciate if u cud help me out on this one guys!:) i like to make a huge tank/pond in concrete... my mind is really set for this project or the one i posted last night... anyway, here goes.

I'm planning to build this Tank/Pond setup in our balcony. All the water system is ready in that place and i dont need to worry about anything right now except for a few problems that are really bugging me@_@

heres the plan.

The dimensions aren't clear yet coz i haven't really measured my space, anyway, i'm planning to build this tank/pond by constructing the 3 walls of it using hollow blocks and concrete. The front wall will be glass. sealed by epoxy and silicone sealant. The drain/Filter/water system is ok. it will be elevated though. i'll be using hollow blocks to elevate it. will it be safe?

secondly, i'm thinking that since its in our balcony, i wont have anything to cover it. perhaps i can order some more plastic/glass covering. but will it do without these? meaning it's top exposed to open air. thats why it's a semi pond.... it would probably take 1/8 of our balcony so it's area will be roughtly 7'x7'... i wont make it pretty tall. perhaps 3 feet or less is enough given that it is elevated. i wont want my support to crack or worse, collapse.

I've made a 8 x 5 x 3 pond before. (i was just 15 then!!!) and it was pretty neat! i think i can do it again. making it more challenging this time. maybe i'll survey the place again tomorow. it's nyt time here in the phils...@_@ i'll post the dimensions.:)
