I was browsing around today, cause I had to grab some filters for my Canister.I noticed a 75 gallon bow front tank, measurements were 48x18x20.Now my 55 gallon is a 48x13x20 at the moment, would it be consider a major upgrade for my Oscar who is 9 inches at the moment or should I find the 75 gallon tank, that is measured 60x18x16?Would it make much of a difference, since I am getting only close to a foot in length?

16" sounds pretty shallow for an oscar. Between substrate and airspace you're gonna loose atleast 2", an oscar will get a good 7" tall leaving only about 3" above and below the fish.
