I have recently come across a great find on a 135 gallon aquarium. Its dimensions are 60x18x25. I plan to eventually get a 300 gallon aquarium, but I was curious if the following fish would do ok in a 135?

2 oscars
4 Tinfoil Barbs
1 Pleco

The Oscars are the main fish I am wanting. Would the above overload the tank?
The filters I have waiting for this tank are:
Marineland C-530
Hagen Aquaclear 110

Thanks for all the advice.:headbang2

Yeah, that will overload the tank when they all get big. I would forget about the Tinfoil Barbs.

The tank is not 135g.

116.88g to be exact. (LxWxH divide by 231 = gallons)

I have a 60x18x26 (121.56g) with quite a few fish right now (growout tank) that will all be quite large, but they will soon be moving into a 210g. You could go with the two Oscars and the Pleco but you will need to keep up with the water changes! I would say no tinfoil barbs but maybe some silver dollars instead. With the stipulation of a larger tank still being the goal.

In my tank I am running two large canisters (Cascade 1500), a power head and Bubble wand to help with circulation, 9w UV sterilizer. I do small poop/gravel vacs every two days to get surface debris and then two large water changes/vacs also every week. My tank is spotless and water parameters are in check.
