Tank Re-arrangers

Which fish will re-decorate the tank often?
Do most do it out of boredom or just plain fun?

The lady at the store said when i wanted a red parrot, that they dig up the gravel and scratch acrylic walls but is this really true?

My BP's are constantly digging and re-arranging. They like to remove gravel from the pots and spit them against the front of the tank. They also like to build piles in the back corner. I just re-position things when I vacuum the substrate. It's fun to watch them do their thing....JM978

oh man...how old are they when they start doing that?
are there anyway to prevent it?(without a bare-bottom tank)

is your tank glass or acylic?
