Tank really hot when I got home need help

Hi guys I just got
Home to school and I walk through the door I see my knife almost like cut up? And the water is really hot from the glass and a slight green tint on some decorations any help and how can I medicate no dead fish other fish seem fine the tank was fine when I left at 6:45am

Check the temperature in your tank. That looks like aggression, what all do you have in the tank besides the knife?

Looks to me like he got beat up, especially if he was fine when you left. I see a lot of kribensis in there and some keyholes, they are not usually very mean but are still cichlids and perhaps could be the culprits.
What is temperature? you say it feels hot, it's hard to tell by feeling the tank what it is since our body temperature is close to 100*f.

Appears the crock pot is set for dinner. It's stressed right now but maybe in an hour it will be ready to serve.

Another thought- that coral looks like it might be pretty sharp, and knifes have smooth skin... maybe he bugged out and rammed into the coral repeatedly?

My heaters are set at 80 my temp is reading 84 the tank has been the same for 8 months I’ve had him I have 8 Kribs I had 2 and they bread I have 2 keyholes and 1 uaru and 2 ref head geos those are my only cichlids

I have 2 clown loaches 2 bn plecos 1 gold nugget 5 angelfish 5 rainbowfish 6 Congo tetras as dithers and 3 syndotis lupaduris that I got from a breeder that specializes in low ph I just did a water change last Saturday my ph is 6.8 and I’ve never had any issues like this my tank is usually perfect
