tank rearanging for fahaka

well i got my fahaka today . first pic is what tank use to be until i moved payars, 2nd pic is yesterday and 3rd and 4th pics are today.

whats with the two tone substrate ? half sand half red & black gravel, i never seen anything like it ! weird and wonderful

Very interesting! My fahaka chooses how to decorate his tank, if he doesn't like something where it is he moves it... Including my large driftwood that measures 24"x22"x14", and is fairly solid.

i just used a piece of plastic that connects to the back of glass lids and cut it to the right size then pushed all my gravel over to one side and put the sand on the other. i figured the puffer gets the best of both worlds that way so he can choose whatever he wants glad some of u like it

oh ya i forgot to tell u that the guy who shipped it is in texas, maybe he thinks the temperature in the north is the same as the south. i live in pa and its 35 degrees out and when i got him this moring the water was like ice. i would honestly say it was 55-60 degrees. i do not know how he was alive. no heat packs just bubble wrap around the bag
