I have a Red Devil and a Oscar and a Senegal Bichir in a 20G growout along with another 20G growout tank wit 2 EBJDS and there is a common pleco in each tank =)

Should I get 1 BIG tank, or two medium sized ones?

I can prolly get a good deal on a 75G from my uncle... would 2 75Gs work? or maybe a 200G DIY kinda tank?

ebjd's wont last long with an oscar or a bichir id put them in a tank of there own or maybe with something mellower i have 2 in with geored heads they are just fine

so would 2 75G be good for all of the fish of no?

it depends...what do you plan on adding in each 75g tank? personally i dont think a Red Devil and Oscar will do good in a 75g tank, red devil will most likely kill the oscar and tank would be to small for both fish. As for the EBJDs they will do fine in a 75g tank.

well, a pleco in each tank and the bichir, RD and oscar need to be n a tank and the EBJDs can go by themselves...

You'll find that your rd will very quickly own your oscar in tanks of all sizes. You'll be fine for a while then *snap* the oscar will look like it got run through a shredder.

I agree w/ the consensus that eventually the oscar and RD will eventually not be compatible w/ one another in the 75G.

I totally agree.

well, the plans have changed and it looks like I am going to have to BUILD 2 90G tanks... maybe a lil smaller...

The dimensions I plan on using are 36" long 20" wide and 24" deep... sound good?
