Tank requirements?

What is the recommended setup for C. ocellaris and C. monoculus as far as tank dimensions, filtration and substrate/decor?

If you search the forum you'll see plenty of discussions on this topic. But we need more info will it be one fish of each species or how many pass are you trying house 2,3,4,5,6 20?

Well regardless of how many you have min tank with I would say needs to be 2ft wide. But 3 ft min would be best. Everyone has there own "opinion" on this topic but larger is always better . I would say a 180 gallon min but like I said so people use much smaller tanks and some will say you need a 500 gallon+. Me personally wouldn't go smaller then a 180

Minimum for me is 4ft x 2ft x 2ft housing 5 pb and some tankmates

Thats kind of a coincidence that you mentioned a 4x2x2, since that was the other tank size I was considering! Thats probably what I will do!

4x2x2 is not big enough, I would consider 7'x30'' or 6'x3' minimum.
