I'm planning a UGJ system for my tank and want to conceal the jets the best I can. Can someone recommend a paint that would adhere to the pvc and not imperil the fish?

Thanks.

Krylon fusion works great. I've used it in several tanks with no ill effects. It sticks to PVC very well and once it's cured it's safe.

:iagree: with Rallysman, and if you need to - ruff up the pvc surface with fine sand paper or a scotchbrite pad.

:iagree: The laziness in me kept me from going that extra step. I had expected a better bond and am now dealing with some white spots in my black painted PVC. It does not peel or flake, but it scratches off easily. I used PVC cleaner on the bare pipe and let it dry (I had hoped to enhance the chemical bonding). It will be well worth it to hit it with fine sand paper.

Sweet !!! I was wondering what to use on some custom intake and return PVC lines.

this is my overflow after a fresh coat of fusion:

Sand with something around a 250 - 300 grit?
