im thinking of breeding my mayan when i get it acureatly sexed
and im gonne need to have a partition for the 2 fish to get to know eachvoer as il have to buy another fish close to 10" so i need to know what you guys use?
il need something that can be cut to 17"x24"high, seethrough and withstand 2 large cichlids.

i was thinking clear acrylic with holes drilled in it for airflow? something like that. i wont be able to afford anything overly expensive though.
ideas and sugestions?

I tried it all and ended up just using egg crates. They are the easiest and cheapest dividers. I had 3 tanks setup with dividers in less than 30 minutes. Its very easy with snips to make the divider. GL

what on earth is egg crate?
where can i get it from? and it cuts into shape easily?

Pretty easy to cut, most hardware stores carry something similar to this.
