Lots of bio media if it is bare bottom.Clown knife, two tiger Oscars, Pike cichlid, and common hi-fin pleco. I was think between 200-250 gallons long. It would be a bare bottom maybe a couple decorations for pike. Let me know your thoughts.

You will have to do massive water changes with those fish. No less than 50% or more per week. Tbh 250 is not large enough to house those fish for life.
I think its plenty big for those fish with the exception of the clown knife. Ditch the clown knife and youre set.
What size would you guys recommend so I could keep the clown knife 400 gallon? Btw I am not worried about water changes already do weekly changes for the tanks they are in.Yes the Clown Knife was my concern .

One problem is I already have all these fish. However, the knife fish is not even a foot yet. I thought a 240 fish tank would of been big enough for knife fish based off another post I saw on here. I guess sadly once he gets to big I will have to give him to a aquarium/zoo.The issue is that clown knives can eventually get something like 36" long. So you need a tank wide enough that the fish can comfortably turn around. That being said, it will take a long time for a knife to get that big, most clown knives in captivity die for various reasons before reaching their full size. Frankly I think it would be best to consider a smaller growing species instead of building a 400g tank to be comfortable for a clown knife...
