I had a friend sleep over who got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and managed to break my tank. He says he slipped and fell into the tank, knocking it over. All I know is my 80 gallon tank is broken, I have no money and my fish are no incredibly crowded in my 55. Because I have no money I am BEGGING anyone who has a spare 80 gallon to give me an early Christmas present. I know it's a lot to ask but if anyone has a spare tank I can have, that would be awesome. Otherwise I have to sell half of my fish which I have had for 3 years and have become very attached to. =[

It was on a custom built stand that fit the tanks dimensions perfectly. ( that is also broken btw) He is 6'2 and pretty hefty. He was going down the stairs and hit the side of the tank and tried to use it to catch his balance. He tipped it forward. I was amazed.

Or instead of asking for one outright, you could ask for a lend of one. or a big tub?

Or make your friend find you one. My 150 and 180 are too big to be knocked over, but if someone knocked over my 55, they would be owing me the difference for the 9 juvie fronts I have in there, plus a new tank.

+1 on the rubbermaid tubs, but yeah if it was one of my friends they'd be buying me a brand new tank

Real friends don't break each other's tanks.

But yeah, if you want to keep the fish, go with rubbermaid tubs.

He has no money and probably never will. I don't think they make rubbermaid bins big enough for all my fish. And I can't have more than one since I only have the one filter. =[
